It’s safe to say, the last year has been a challenge for every business and it came as no surprise that back in April 2020 once lockdown was announced, many businesses went in to ‘freeze mode’. We were entering uncharted territory and understandably the priority for many was to save as much money as possible and survive lockdown. As marketers, we know that marketing is often the first budget cut when businesses need to save money, a frustrating reality that we encounter every day.
Henry Ford once said, ‘a man who stops advertising to save money is like a man who stops a clock to save time’, the same applies to marketing as a whole. We know what you’re thinking – we would say that wouldn’t we, we’re a marketing agency? But we’re not just saying it, we know the power of consistency with marketing efforts and we see for ourselves every day the results this achieves for our clients. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic we have worked with our clients to keep momentum going and we are proud that most have not only got through the last 12 months but have excelled.
Thankfully, after the initial panic in the face of COVID and the pivoting of many marketing strategies for our clients, we saw a positive shift in mindset with many seeing the lockdown as an opportunity to explore new avenues and plan ahead. Thanks to the ‘stay at home’ order, for those who previously relied on being able to be physically present with their customers the need for digital marketing became even more apparent. We have built over 20 websites over the last year and have helped our clients to improve their digital presence exponentially, something that will carry them forward into a post-COVID world.
As we start to emerge from lockdown and look towards June where we all hope we can get back to our lives, there has never been a better time to prepare for this ‘better normal’. After the last year of keeping afloat, the worst is over and it’s time to thrive, not just survive.
Whether you need to start from scratch, readdress an existing marketing strategy or just improve your digital presence, we’re here to help. Give us a call on 01162989430 or drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org, we’d love to discuss your ideas with you.
